As a subspecialty PHEM is not included in the GMC survey for trainees and trainers.

However, IBTPHEM are interested in hearing the views of the PHEM trainees, trainers and local education providers.

As such, the pre-hospital emergency medicine trainees association (PHEMTA) conduct an annual survey and share that with IBTPHEM through the IBTPHEM Board.

The IBTPHEM training committee conducted a survey of the trainers and local education providers in 2023 to better understand how IBTPHEM could support these groups.
