IBTPHEM Training Sub-Committee Member roles available

The Intercollegiate Board for Training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (IBTPHEM) is responsible for training and assessment in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) in the UK on behalf of its parent Colleges.

The IBTPHEM Training Committee has created new sub-committees to focus on specific areas of PHEM sub-specialty training, utilising and engaging experienced individuals from across the country.

The Committee is now recruiting new members for these sub-committees to take office in 2020 and is inviting applications from UK based PHEM consultants.

The sub-committees are:

-             Quality

-             National Training

-             Educators

-             Recruitment

Role summary

Each sub-committee will have 4-6 members with a chair.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Be familiar with the PHEM Curriculum and Training Programme
  • Attend sub-committee meetings and briefings as directed
  • Utilise their expertise and experience to enhance training experience for PHEM trainees
  • Comply with the Code of Conducts
